   Welcome to Silver Rail Pasture Golf. Entrance to the course. Enter and enjoy the tour.

I will paraphrase Willie Nelson, who built some holes at his ranch:
the best part about owing your own course is that you
get to declare what par is on each hole;
that one over there is a par 8, and I eagled the sucker yesterday!"

  "Golf" always brings to mind nicely manicured g reens
and long mowed fairways.  Well, now you can forget anything you know about golf courses and golf other than the fact that you still hit a little white ball
towards a particular destination.

 Pasture golf is played in a field complete with bush, shrubs and anything else you'd find in the wild.

The nicest thing about pasture golf is that there are lots of shade trees around so you don't roast in the hot sun while you're having a good time.

   Cool streams and ponds dot the landscape, crickets chirp, turtles wallow in the mud and fish glide slowly through the cool, clear water and all around the birds sing competing with the "rivett", "rivett" of frogs for
your attention.
          Looking down towards the creek that flows through the course.
 View of tall trees shading the playing areas    Tall trees rustle in the slight summer breeze and everything is in harmony with nature.

Then having enjoyed unspoiled nature you take your
first wack at the ball and discover that this is a
game of golf such as you've never played before!

" In Africa some of the native tribes have a custom of beating the ground with clubs and uttering spine chilling cries. Anthropologists call this a form of self expression. In America we call it golf.- Becker "
